David M. Rubenstein to Speak at Family Centers’ Titan Speaker Series
Greenwich, Conn. (September 13, 2024) – Family Centers will host David M. Rubenstein, businessman, philanthropist and author as the featured speaker for its Titans Speaker Series on Monday, November 25, at 8 a.m. The event will take place at Greenwich Country Club.
Family Centers’ Titans Series brings America’s greatest leaders to Fairfield County for intimate and captivating discussions. Previous speakers have included renowned biographer Walter Isaacson, former Blackstone executive Tony James, Pulitzer Prize winner Nicholas Kristof, Home Depot Co-Founder Ken Langone, Academy Award Winner Jane Fonda and Dr. Henry Kissinger, among others.
Rubenstein is the co-founder and co-chairman of The Carlyle Group, a global private investment firm, and serves as Chairman and CEO of the Baltimore Orioles. He is the author of The American Story and How to Lead, both New York Times bestsellers, and hosts PBS’s History with David Rubenstein.
Rubenstein’s most recent book, The Highest Calling, explores the legacies of U.S. presidents through historical analysis and personal experience. Drawing on his time in the Carter administration, Rubenstein examines presidential leadership and its broader impact.
Proceeds from the event will support Family Centers’ health, education, and human service programs, which serve over 24,000 residents in lower Fairfield County. Sponsorships and tickets are available, and attendees will receive a copy of The Highest Calling.
