Mollen, Lindroth Inspire CFH Luncheon Crowd
On September 15, actress and best-selling author Jenny Mollen opened up about the important role mental health counseling had played in her life during her keynote address at the 2022 Center for HOPE Luncheon. The event was held at the Wee Burn Beach Club in Rowayton.
Using humor and interesting personal stories, Mollen discussed her struggles with depression, eating disorders and family health challenges. Throughout it all, therapy remained a positive force that allowed her to find balance amidst the chaos.
Renowned interior designer Amanda Lindroth also received the Spirit of Resiliency Award at the event. In her acceptance speech, Lindroth recalled how she wished a program like the Center for HOPE was available to her when she lost her husband, Orjan, of brain cancer during the pandemic.
