Family Centers’ Welcomes Walter Isaacson for Latest Titan Series Breakfast
Greenwich, Conn. (October 25, 2023) – On Friday, November 17 at 8:30 a.m., Family Centers will welcome bestselling biographer and renowned professor Walter Isaacson as the latest speaker in its popular Titans Speaker Series. The event will be held at Greenwich Country Club.
Isaacson is currently a Professor of History at Tulane University, and has previously served as Editor of Time Magazine, CEO of CNN and CEO of the Aspen Institute. His biographies on Steve Jobs, Jennifer Doudna, Leonardo da Vinci, Benjamin Franklin and Albert Einstein have sold millions of copies around the world.
For his latest book, Isaacson spent two years shadowing Elon Musk, attended his meetings, walked his factories with him, and spent hours interviewing him, his family, friends, coworkers, and adversaries. The result is a revealing inside story, filled with amazing tales of triumphs and turmoil, that addresses the question: are the demons that drive Musk also what it takes to drive innovation and progress?
All funds raised will directly support Family Centers' holistic network of health, education and human service programs that help more than 24,000 lower Fairfield County residents overcome a variety of life's obstacles. Sponsorships and tickets available now! All attendees will receive a copy of Isaacson's new biography, Elon Musk.
