Literacy Volunteers’ 14th Annual Scrabble Challenge Set for April 29
Grab a dictionary and brush up on those words that start with the letter “Q”! It’s time for Literacy Volunteers' 14th Annual Scrabble Challenge.
The event, which is co-chaired by Greenwich resident Marge Berkley and Rowayton resident Stewart Brownlee, will be held Tuesday, April 29 at 6 p.m. at the Greenwich Hyatt Regency.
The Scrabble Challenge brings together families, school groups and members of the business community for an evening of friendly competition. Players will enjoy cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and two rounds of Scrabble. All proceeds will support Literacy Volunteers' English-language, literacy and education services offered to residents of Fairfield County.
Teams (up to three players) are forming now and a number of sponsorship opportunities are available. To register or become a sponsor, visit www.familycenters.org or contact Aleksa Lazarewicz at alazarewicz@familycenters.org or 203-869-4848.
