Signed copies of Elizabeth Edwards' Book Available at Center for HOPE
On the heels of Elizabeth Edwards' successful appearance at the Center for HOPE's Annual Luncheon May 20, Family Centers has a limited number of signed copies of her new memoir, Resilience for sale. Copies are $25 each, and all proceeds benefit the Center for HOPE and The Den for Grieving Kids, Family Centers' bereavement and critical illness programs.
Edwards captivating a capacity crowd of 350 people with her candid revelations of grief, loss and life. In her New York Times bestselling memoir, Edwards delves into her struggles with the loss of her son, cancer and how she maintained her strength throughout it all.
"No one should have to grieve or go through hardship alone," Edwards told the crowd as she praised the Center for HOPE for its commitment to helping people living with a life-threatening illness or grieving a death by providing professional counseling and support. "We will all tumble and fall at some point. Your ability to take the risk to take the tumble is really dependent upon the knowledge that someone is there for you."
