Greenwich Rotary Club "Tees It Up" for Greenwich Head Start Preschool
Tiger and Phil may get all the fame and glory, but members and friends of the Greenwich Rotary Club will be the true heroes of the links as they take swings to raise money for the town's most vulnerable children.
Slated for Monday, Oct. 5 at the Milbrook Club in Greenwich, the 10th Annual Greenwich Rotary Club Golf & Tennis Outing will benefit Family Centers' Greenwich Head Start Preschool. The event kicks off at 11 a.m. with lunch and a putting contest. Golfing begins with a shotgun start at 12 noon, with the tennis rally following at 2 p.m. Dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m.
Prizes will be awarded for lowest gross and net team golf scores, men's and women's longest drives, 50/50 Closest to the Pin Contest, 50/50 Putting Contest, Hole-in-One and the tennis winner. A number of exciting prizes will also be raffled off during dinner.
Foursome packages, which include lunch, 18 holes of golf and dinner, cost $750. Individual golf packages are $200, while individual tennis packages are $100. Those interested in only attending the dinner can purchase tickets for $75.
