Center for HOPE Hosts AXA Financial for Estate Planning Discussion Nov. 8
In recognition of National Caregivers Month, the Center for HOPE has teamed with AXA Equitable to offer a special presentation entitled "The Family Love Letter" on Sunday, Nov. 8 at 2:30 p.m. at the Center for HOPE, 590 Post Road in Darien.
Georgette Geller, ChFC, CLU, Executive Vice President of AXA Advisors' Continental Division and manager of its Connecticut branch office, will host the seminar. Intended to help people prepare for the unexpected, the Family Love Letter is a powerful estate-planning tool that covers a range of crucial issues beyond the standard will. Topics to be discussed include choosing a representative for all legal, financial and medical matters, arranging guardianship of children and directives for end-of-life medical treatment.
The Family Love Letter also compiles attendees financial and legal documents, plus the contact information, account access details, individual personal wishes and everything loved ones will need if in the event of an untimely death, illness or injury.
The Family Love Letter workshop is free, but registration is required. Attendees are also entitled to a free consultation with Geller. To register, call Marisol Carde at 203-655 4693.
