RITE Program Coordinator
Seeking RITE Program Coordinator for Stamford area. The RITE Program Coordinator provides people of the community with advice and assistance to empower them to find employment and/or become more employable, to identify and realize their capabilities and potential, and to rely on the positive aspects of their individual situation. The RITE Program Coordinator provides information and referrals to find resources that will support self sufficiency goals, such as referrals for vocational training, computer classes, ESL, funding for tuition, scholarships, grants, and job placements. The Coordinator works with employers in the community to identify job openings, create long lasting relationships and ensure that RITE Program clients have every opportunity to maintain their employment.
Minimum Bachelors Degree with proven experience in Job Development, Self Sufficiency or a related field. Master’s Degree in psychology, sociology, social services, human services, education or related field preferred. Family Centers' fund development team is currently seeking a new member to prospect, write and manage private foundation and corporate grants to achieve an annual budget goal of roughly $1 million. The successful candidate will form close working relationships with program professionals and the board of directors to identify grant opportunities and meet all necessary application requirements.
