HOPE VI Community Supportive Services Program
HOPE VI assists low-income families living in Stamford Public Housing achieve greater self-sufficiency through counseling, vocational training and case management services. With the support of Charter Oaks Communities (formerly the Stamford Housing Authority), HOPE VI case manager work with residents to develop Individual Development Plans to increase economic independence.
By focusing on individual strengths and addressing personal and family needs, HOPE VI case managers also work to utilize appropriate education and training services to help qualifying residents obtain employment or improve their employment situations.
