Charter Oak Communities Collaborative
In collaboration with Charter Oak Communities (the housing authority of Stamford), Family Centers provides families living in Stamford Public Housing achieve greater self-sufficiency through counseling, vocational training and case management services.  Family Centers' case managers are onsite five days a week at Charter Oak Communities' buildings in Stamford to help residents to develop Individual Development Plans to increase economic and vocational independence.

By focusing on individual strengths and addressing personal and family needs, Family Centers' case managers also work to utilize appropriate education and training services to help qualifying residents obtain employment or improve their employment situations.
