Early Care and Education

Family Centers' Early Care and Education programs the only full-day, full-year programs in Greenwich accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).  Accreditation by the NAEYC is widely recognized as a sign of high quality early care and education.  Only eight percent of the nation's preschools earn NAEYC's stamp of approval.

Joan Melber Warburg Early Childhood Center
The Warburg Center at 22 Bridge Street in Greenwich provides full day nurturance and care for infants, toddlers and two year old children. This is a developmentally focused program to foster growth and learning in partnership with parents. The Arch Street Preschool at 40 Arch Street, Gateway Preschool at 2 Chapel Street and Dancing Dolphins School Readiness Class at Armstrong Court in Greenwich provide full-day, year-round early childhood education programs for three- to five-year-old children. The Gateway Preschool also offers a class for two-year-olds. 

The preschool's Creative Curriculum offers educational and social enrichment, as well as kindergarten readiness skills.
