Girls Scout Troop 638 of Greenwich recently made customized Valentine’s Day cards for area seniors enrolled in Family Centers’ Friendly Connections program.   

With the help of other Girl Scout troops in Greenwich and Darien, more than 250 cards were made.  The cards will be distributed to Friendly Connections clients prior to Valentine’s Day.  

Operated by Family Centers, Friendly Connections offers comprehensive support and wellness services to seniors living in Fairfield County.  In addition to the numerous telephone groups and classes accessed by hundreds of seniors, Friendly Connections also provides one-on-one companionship and support to homebound seniors through its Friendly Caller and Friendly Visitor programs.   

Family Centers is a private, nonprofit organization offering education and human services to children, adults and families in Fairfield County. More than 1,000 professionals and trained volunteers work together to provide a wide range of responsive, innovative programs.
