|
Family Centers announced today that it has been reaccredited by the Council on Accreditation (COA), one of the world’s leading human service accreditation organizations. This accreditation recognizes that Family Centers’ has met the COA’s strict standards of excellence. COA’s review process is designed to assure that Family Centers has set high standards of performance, and has made a commitment to their clients to enhance the effectiveness of the services they deliver. The accreditation process includes an in-depth review of organizational standards including human resources, financial and risk management, continuous quality improvement and several service standards addressing an array of child, family and behavioral healthcare services. “We are delighted to meet the COA’s standards,” said Robert M. Arnold, Family Centers’ President. “This designation helps us ensure that the services we offer are of the highest quality and continuously meet the needs of our community.” COA is an international, independent, not-for-profit accrediting body that was incorporated as a separate legal entity in August 1977, as an accrediting body of social and behavioral healthcare services. COA’s mission “promotes best-practice standards; champions quality services for children, youth and families; and advocates for the value of accreditation.”
