New Board Members Appointed
At its 125th Annual Meeting on Nov. 1, Family Centers announced the appointments of Lindsay Burn, Ashley Fox and Tom O’Connor to its Board of Directors.
Raised in both Greenwich and Charlottesville, VA, Burn now lives in New Canaan with her husband, Spencer Grimes, and their three-year-old daughter, Loulie. Burn received a Master’s Degree in Landscape Design at the English Gardening School in London, and owns a residential landscape design firm. She is a passionate supporter of the New York Botanical Garden, Children’s Rights and The Phillip Glass House. Burn has also been a supporter of Family Centers’ benefits for many years, and served on the organization’s 2016 benefit planning committee.
Fox, a lifelong Greenwich resident, has always been community-minded. She and her husband, Charlie, are actively involved with Greenwich Country Day School, where their children are enrolled. Over the past several years, Fox has volunteered on a number of Family Centers’ event committees, and currently serves on the B’Cured Committee. Next fall, she will co-chair the Greenwich Land Trust's Go Wild event. Fox is a local jewelry designer and operates the Ashley Fox Collection.
O’Connor is a litigation partner in the Greenwich offices of Whitman Breed Abbott & Morgan LLC. A Greenwich native, he is a graduate of Greenwich High School, Middlebury College, and Tulane University Law School. Tom has served as President and member of the Board of Directors for the Greenwich Bar Association, and since 2013 has served as Secretary and member of the Board of Greenwich Youth Lacrosse. He was selected as one of Fairfield County’s “40 Under 40” by the Fairfield County Business Journal in 2015, and as one of Connecticut’s “Rising Stars” by SuperLawyers in 2016.
